Whether fishing for trout or salmon, with flies or lures, anglers can test their skills with Alaska's largest rainbow trout, sockeyes and kings from the state's largest salmon runs, silvers, pinks, chum, arctic char, or grayling. Flights to remote rivers and lakes are scheduled daily, weather permitting, and the Naknek River, accessible by boat, is home to all five native salmon species, rainbow trout, arctic char, and grayling. From the scenic waterways of Bristol Bay, you can experience the finest fishing Alaska has to offer.

Nature enthusiasts can visit Katmai National Park, Brooks Falls, and the Valley of 10,000 Smokes. Watch bears in their natural habitat as they vie for prime fishing spots and feast on salmon. Keep your eyes open for wolves, foxes, mink, eagles, and other animals that live in the area. Go flightseeing over ash fields in the Valley of 10,000 Smokes where 15 volcanoes are active. Or enjoy a scenic float on the Alagnak River, the first river in Alaska to be designated a National Wild and Scenic River.
